Blog features/anatomy.

Different blogs often have different components or parts, depending on what is available from the blog host/software. Here are some of the most common ones:
1. Blog Title - The name of your blog.
2. Date - The day/date you wrote the blog entry.
3. Entry Title - The title of a particular blog entry.
4. Entry's Main Body - The main content of the blog entry. This may include both text and/or photos/audios/videos/links.
5. Author’s Profile – Blogger biography/profile may also include author’s photo.
6. Comments Tag - This is a link allowing readers/visitors to leave feedback or comments on particular blog entries.
7. Time - The exact time the blog author posted/published the blog entry.

This also sometimes acts as a permanent link (permalink) to the blog entry.
8. Permalink - The permanent link is a reference link to a specific blog entry.
9. Calendar - This is an optional blog feature, which usually shows the current month's calendar dates. On days where there are blog entries, the dates are usually linked.
10. Archives - This contains links to previous blog entries. Depending on the blog host/software, a blog author may show archived entries in different ways. Some choose to archive daily, weekly, or monthly. Some may also archive by category, per blog entry, by recent entries, by most number of comments, and by most recently commented entries.
11. Links - This is a section showing different links to various web sites of the blog author's choice. It may be a 'blogroll' (a collection of links to other favorite blogs), links to favorite web sites, and/or media lists (books, music, etc.).
12. RSS/XML Tag - If it is offered by the blog host/software, this is a link that refers to the blog's RSS feed. It allows other people to syndicate the content of the blog to either a feed reader/aggregator and/or to someone else's web site.
