There are many other ways to increase traffic to your site or promote your online businesses.
1. Send an e-mail. You may use e-mail to promote traffic to your site, BUT NEVER SPAM! Don’t send bulk unsolicited e-mail without permission to people with whom you have no relationship with. You may also get visitors’ e-mail lists through a guestbook form. So, direct marketing industry has developed targeted e-mail lists for you to rent. Actually, those people earlier have agreed to receive commercial e-mail messages. Include a link to your site in the signature at the bottom of your e-mail. Every message you sent to your prospects must include your company name, URL, e-mail address, and a simple description of your business offers.
2. Purchase an expired domain name, and get the traffic they already established to your site. But avoid mistakes that you may not need to maintain or improve the traffic because your contents may not satisfy them that they will never return to your website in future.
3. Develop or improve your web functions so that it creates repeating users, such as providing discussion board, bulletin board, blog section, chat room, post comment form, membership form, and feedback form. By adding “What’s new” or “Latest posts” section, you may encourage visitors to come back to your site again, tracking for the latest update for what they want. Or else, if your site is just the same like 2 to 3 weeks before, they will never return to your site in future.
4. Or just ‘tell a friend’. And your website promotion will occur from mouth to mouth.
