- Advertising fees - Companies (and YOU) charge others for allowing them to place a banner on their (and YOUR) sites. Or you can join advertising program from Google Adsense, place Google ads on your site, and get money each time people click the Google ads on your site.
- Subscription or membership fees - Customers pay a fixed amount, usually monthly to be a member or to get some type of service and products. Luckily we don't have to pay for Facebook, Friendster, or Myspace right? They are all free! *But you do have to pay some if you are really serious to play Mafia Wars in facebook right? That's one of their revenue strategy other than banner ads that you can see on the right side of their website.
