Facebook or Twitter?

What, you think Google is still on top? Or eBay as the most famous one, since even the Transformers know about it? lolz

What if it is not anymore, or at least for a couple of weeks soon? Are you a Facebook user? Are you a Twitter user?

More people are using Facebook. A big network of users they claimed they have, makes Facebook as a perfect platform for marketing. As Facebook also allows users to develop their own applications, everybody now can make more money on Facebook or at least increase traffics to their existing sites. Free applications and platforms provided by Facebook allows a variety of dynamic ways to promote your websites, companies, products, and services. Furthermore Facebook Connect in the other way allows Facebook users that are also registered users of your site to indirectly promoting your website to their friends in Facebook. Thus increasing your web traffic as well as increasing the number of registered users for your site. Lots more ways you and your business can benefit from Facebook that i haven't told here yet.

But how about Twitter?
I think Twitter has become more powerful and interesting than Facebook, in a way that you can connect directly to a specific niche you wanted. How? Twitter for me is like a chatting room where you can promote your business and as a shouting box where you can post updates of your businesses and life. Whatever you are talking about, people on Twitter are seeing it and they are always reacting to your 'tweets' as instantly. You can find more friends, faster than Facebook.

Try to discover both Facebook.com and Twitter.com. I promise that you will find out that both are better than Google in a couple of weeks..or at least the most important in your marketing strategies.

To be an affiliate or a reseller

Should you have to choose..(i believe nobody should); There are both advantages and disadvantages in becoming an affiliate or a reseller of any product.

Being an affiliate proved to be the best way or at least the FIRST STEP to start making money online. Why? Because you don't need to pay for it! You sign up as an affiliate for FREE, promote the products, and each time people buy from your affiliate link, you are given a certain percentage of commissions from the sale.
When you are a reseller you will always have to buy the products first. You then can resell the products, and how you'd resell it, depends on what type of resell rights/licenses included in the products. For example; if the product includes master resell right/license, you may resell unlimited copies of the product at any price.

Usually you will earn more as a reseller than an affiliate, but then again, to start along with it may cost you some money or worse way down loosing it. As an affiliate, the profit might be small but you start for FREE. BUT, as an affiliate, if you can find any product with high paying commission rates, you are way better than being a reseller. Clickbank.com offers dozens of products with high paying commission rates.

My recommendation; choose to be in BOTH sides! ;p

Products with resell rights

Informative e-books or software always come along with licenses when you buy it; normal resell right, master resell right, private label resell right, and re-branding resell right.

Normal Resell Right
When you buy any digital product with a Normal Resell Right, you may resell UNLIMITED COPIES of the product AT A SPECIFIC PRICE and your customer ARE NOT GIVEN ANY RIGHT TO SELL IT or in other words, it is then for Personal Use Only.

Master Resell Right.
When you buy any digital product like e-book or software with a master resell right, you own the right to RESELL UNLIMITED COPIES of the products AT ANY PRICE and you may also GRANT YOUR CUSTOMERS THE RIGHT TO RESELL IT. Furthermore you can bundle this product with other products to make a better package to be resell at a better price both for you and your customers.

Private Label Resell Right
When you buy a product with a private label right, you may not only resell the product but YOU MAY ALSO EDIT THE CONTENT OR PRODUCT AND CLAIM IT AS YOUR OWN WORK (or as an author of the product!).

Re-branding Resell Right
In a re-branding resell right product, you may REPLACE THE AUTHOR LINKS WITH YOURS.

The 'Why-should-I-buy-from-you' Habit...

Those internet marketers, selling informative products like an e-book, videos, and so on. They are writing just about the same thing in their sales page, if not the same phrases, at least the same meaning. Almost like;

"I've made a lot of money (if not a millionaire), so now I want to reveal the secrets (or formula) of how i did it.... (wowh... stop right there! I mean why'd so suddenly?)."

All right, if you are a customer, you might think twice like this; "Why should the rich one suddenly want to share something that is worth his/her wealthiness?" Like, you become rich through eBay. Then suddenly you want to sell an e-book on how you did it? It's like, why don't just stop, and enjoy the money? Why want to spoil your business by revealing your secrets? Maybe...he/she hasn't got enough money yet? Selling their e-books, just for an extra income, because most likely we're never satisfied with what we have.. (sounds greedy).

Hahah!
That's not a surprising phenomena of how customers think before they buy something from anyone and thus so important that we (as internet marketers) must understand their needs towards knowing what should be written on our sales letter/page. In a consumer's mind, it's a natural habit, even among we ourselves (internet marketers). So, most of the time, people buy your products not because you are rich and famous, BUT MOST PEOPLE BUY BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE THE PRODUCT IS HELPFUL AND RELIABLE! At first place, it's all about the quality of the products that promises you returning customers!

So, when selling your own informative products, don't worry if you are not rich yet just to convince your prospects. Just show them of how useful your product will be. If you feel like the 'rich ones' are over you, beat them by making sure that your product is over theirs!
